advises clients on international trade and regulatory issues under EU and member state legislation, as well as on the application of WTO and other international agreements. Pieter has a particular focus on EU trade defence instruments, customs and export controls, and economic sanctions. Pieter also teaches EU law and international trade law, and authors academic publications in the field of international economic law.
