About Tirthankar Datta

Tirthankar Datta is a partner in the finance practice at JSA. He has been practising law for around 15 years, and regularly advises Indian and international banks, non-banking finance companies, development finance institutions, private credit funds and sponsors extensively on various syndicated and bilateral rupee and foreign currency facilities, corporate bonds, and other structured debt and private credit deals. He has advised on several marquee transactions in the infrastructure and real estate sector. His practice areas include project finance, real estate finance, leveraged finance and debt capital markets. Tirthankar is admitted to the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa in India.
