Caroline Svelland Hauge advises on taxes and duties with a special focus on indirect taxes (VAT, customs and excise duties). She has extensive experience assisting Norwegian and international clients of Thommessen with complex indirect tax and customs matters across a wide range of sectors. Caroline represents clients in audits and disputes before the Norwegian Tax Administration and the Norwegian Customs Authority, and in litigation. She also advises on transactions and restructurings, domestic and cross-border trade, and provides ongoing general indirect tax and customs advice.
