Cherly Lucien is a litigation associate at Akerman LLP (Fort Lauderdale and Miami), focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation and shareholder disputes. She has significant experience handling high-stakes business disputes, white-collar defence and investigations, and securities enforcement actions. Prior to joining Akerman, Cherly clerked for the Honorable Rodney Smith, US District Judge for the Southern District of Florida. During her clerkship, she gained invaluable experience in drafting opinions and orders, as well as analysing pleadings and motions to offer recommendations on case disposition.
