About Chiyeol Kim

Chiyeol Kim is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, specialising in competition law and policy. He previously served in various divisions of the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC), including the Public Disclosure Division, the Holding Company Division, the Business Group and M&A Policy Division, and the Special Investigation Team. He handled cases involving unfair related-party transactions and disclosure of large-scale internal transactions, as well as policy development for holding companies and corporate venture capital (CVC) systems. In 2024, he also worked on several high-profile cases as part of the KFTC’s newly established Special Investigation Team.
