About Christine Ask Ottesen

Christine Ask Ottesen is a partner, lawyer and the national head of PwC’s privacy and technology team. She is a seasoned data protection lawyer with 20+ years’ experience. Christine previously led the privacy department at the Norwegian National Criminal Investigation Service (KRIPOS) and lectured on intelligence and ethics at the Police University College. She also spent seven years at the Norwegian Data Protection Authority as head of the financial sector and employment law. Christine has authored a book on privacy in the finance sector and is a member of the Norwegian government-appointed committee, the Data Prioritization Council.
