Christian López Silva
is a partner and the head of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry Group in Mexico. He is also a member of the Latin America and North America Healthcare Steering Committees. Christian has more than 16 years' experience in regulation of life sciences, pharmaceutical law and biotechnology matters, having worked in the private and public sectors at the national and international levels. He advises on regulatory, transactional and intellectual property matters for the manufacturing, import, distribution, advertising, labelling, commercialisation and post-market vigilance of medicines, medical devices, food and beverages, cosmetics, seeds, veterinary products, chemicals, alcohol and tobacco. He has experience in government relationships, administrative proceedings, and registration of products, as well as consultancy and contractual work. Christian is the founding president of the Mexican Association for Health Law and Regulation (AMDERSA), a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the deputy co-ordinator of the Health Law Commission of the Mexican Bar Association (BMA).
