is a newly appointed Partner at Pinsent Masons. He has a strong background in patent litigation, particularly in pharmaceuticals and co-ordinating pan-European patent matters, and has been involved in many key cases in his career in the Patents Court, Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and European Patent Office. He has considerable experience of acting for both originator pharmaceutical companies and generic manufacturers on multi-jurisdictional patent actions. Over the last few years, many of his cases have involved biologics, both in the brand-on-brand setting and biosimilars. Christopher also has experience of litigating patent licence agreements, advising licensees seeking to reduce royalty obligations. He is a member of AIPPI UK.
