is a partner in the Johannesburg office dispute resolution department, and is head of the public law and regulatory practice. Claire practises in and advises on all mining and environmental issues, mining title, challenges to the issue of mining licences, transfer of mining rights, including section 11 and 102 applications, conversion of old order rights, environmental emissions and management in the mining context, water, land-use planning and environmental impact assessments in a mining context. Claire has a BA and LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MSc in Law and Development from the London School of Economics.
