She specialises in energy-related matters and particularly in procurement and government contracting aspects, especially in the energy sector. She is active in matters relating to government contracting (public law) and public procurement, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment in South Africa, environmental law and regulatory law in a wide variety of areas, including energy, mining, oil and gas, transport, and health and safety. Claire is a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces and the Johannesburg Attorneys Association, and is widely published on the subject of public procurement.
