About Clare Gillett

Clare Gillett is a partner at McCann FitzGerald specialising in financial regulation. Clare advises on regulatory issues at an Irish and European level and has particular knowledge of the MiFID, IFR/IFD, CRR/CRD, UCITSD, AIFMD, EMIR, IDD, Solvency II and AML regimes. Clare has significant experience in managing CBI authorisations, in particular for MiFID firms, AIFMs and UCITS ManCos. She is also experienced in M&A transactions involving regulated entities. Clare drafts and negotiates a range of commercial agreements for financial institutions. Clare sits on the Irish Funds FinTech and Investment Firms working groups.
