About Andreas Haberbeck

Andreas Haberbeck has 35 years’ experience working as a litigation lawyer in Saudi Arabia and heads Derayah's litigation team. He trained in London and was seconded by Coward Chance to its then new associated Saudi Arabian office from 1983 to 1986. He joined Hatem Abbas Ghazzawi & Co in 1993, which became Derayah LLPC in 2021. A member of Gray’s Inn and the International Bar Association, he is highly experienced in general commercial dispute resolution, including banking disputes, capital market disputes, government contract claims, agencies and distributorships, shipping and insurance. Andreas has given expert evidence on Saudi law in court proceedings and arbitrations in England, Ireland, Singapore and Dubai.
