About Anomi Wanigasekera

Anomi Wanigasekera is an attorney-at-law called to the Bar who joined Julius & Creasy in 1984. She is the senior partner and also heads the intellectual property division. She holds a master’s from the University of Wales and diplomas in intellectual property law. Anomi is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and co-chairs the INTA General Advisory Council South Asia region for 2026–27. She is also a member and vice-president of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) Sri Lanka group. Anomi has contributed to many local and international journals. She has extensive experience spanning over 42 years in all aspects of intellectual property law.
