About Alejandro Madero

Alejandro Madero joined Galicia Abogados in 2021 as a senior associate of the tax litigation team. He has more than 14 years of experience and specialises in strategic advisory on tax audits and procedures before the tax authorities, as well as in ADR procedures in tax matters before Mexico’s Tax Ombudsman Agency (Prodecon). He also specialises in tax controversy procedures regarding federal and local taxes, as well as complex cases involving tax treaty application. He is a part-time professor of the bachelor programme at the “Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey” (TEC), instructing in tax matters.
