About Arlind Ahmetaj

Arlind Ahmetaj is a distinguished Albanian lawyer with broad international experience in public–private partnerships (PPP), international criminal law, humanitarian projects, and commercial practice. He served as a legal adviser to the Municipality of Tirana, contributing to strategic planning and major PPP projects, and previously worked with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the Helsinki Committee in the Netherlands. He later joined Halimi Ahmetaj Law and Tax, advising on oil and gas, tax, competition, commercial, European, and international law. Educated in The Hague, UCL, and Harvard, he combines strong academic credentials with practical expertise across complex legal and regulatory matters and transactions.
