Augusto Cesar Nicolau is a senior associate at Machado Meyer. He has extensive expertise in highly complex financial transactions involving multiple products and jurisdictions and notable experience with derivatives and structured notes, prudential regulation, CVM regulation for investment funds, investment products and their distribution, stock exchanges, stock trading, and brokerages, as well as investment products and derivatives. He was involved in the issuance of the first Structure Note in Brazil to the development of new products and contractual standards for derivatives in Brazil through work with associations such as the ANBIMA. Augusto is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association and the New York State Bar.
