is a senior associate who joined GENI & KEBE in 2009 after working for the West African Reserve Bank. He supports the firm's energy clients with the corporate aspects of their operations in the region, including the establishment of businesses, licensing and M&A. He undertook his post-graduate qualifications in South Africa and was the recipient of an International Lawyers for Africa scholarship to work on secondment with Norton Rose Fulbright in London during 2017. Boubacar is the practice manager overseeing the diverse work of GENI & KEBE's corporate team and has been involved in some of Senegal’s pioneer projects, including advising Cairn Energy in its breakthrough discovery of oil off the coast of Senegal in 2014.
