is a partner and team leader of the firm’s Employment and Labor team. He has practiced employment and labor law for more than 25 years, helping clients navigate employment-related issues of all kinds. He works closely with employers to find practical solutions to workforce problems, resolve labor conflicts, establish effective and compliant policies and practices, structure and implement workforce reductions and business transactions, and work through government audits and agency proceedings. Boyd maintains an active litigation practice, representing clients in a wide variety of employment and labor disputes in Kansas, Missouri, and other jurisdictions, with an emphasis in class and collective actions and other complex litigation. He also serves as a mediator to help other lawyers and their clients resolve employment-related disputes. Boyd is a member of the American Bar Association and the Society for Human Resource Management, has published hundreds of articles on employment law topics and is a popular speaker at seminars and conferences.
