About Brendan Hundt

Brendan Hundt is a UAE-based partner who has been advising sponsors, lenders, government entities, and investors on strategic projects and transactions in the MENA energy sector for nearly 20 years and has been based in the region since 2009. He has completed secondments to ACWA Power and TAQA and is a recognised Middle East power sector expert, having worked on projects involving virtually every type of power generation technology. Brendan’s recent focus has been on energy transition projects and transactions supporting industrial decarbonisation, low-carbon hydrogen and fuel production and energy supply for AI and digital infrastructure. Brendan holds first-class honours degrees in law and business and is English and New South Wales (Australia) law qualified.
