About Gabriel Potkidis

Gabriel Potkidis maintains a broad corporate and securities law practice, advising emerging companies and established businesses at various stages of growth. His work spans mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, and general corporate and securities matters. Before SkyLaw, Gabriel worked at a venture capital firm, advising on structuring special-purpose vehicles for early-stage investments and supported portfolio companies on corporate and operational matters. He gained experience across a wide range of transactional mandates at a prominent Bay Street law firm. Called to the Ontario Bar in June 2025, he holds a dual JD/HBA degree from Western University’s Faculty of Law and Ivey Business School, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List, with the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt Excellence in Business Law Award.
