About Gerardo Rodríguez

Gerardo Rodríguez has focused his practice on antitrust and competition since the beginning of his career. He acted as counsel at Galicia for three years and was promoted to partner in 2025. He has been counsel in investigations involving mergers, joint ventures, price fixing, bid rigging, resale price maintenance, tying and other horizontal and vertical restraints. Gerardo also focuses his practice on all aspects of the merger review process, including pre-acquisition counselling, complex mergers and multi-jurisdictional clearance. He has extensive experience across a wide range of industries, including food and beverages, retail, real estate, construction, chemicals, entertainment, sports, financial services, railways, transportation services, telecommunications and broadcasting.
