About Guilherme Daniel

Guilherme Daniel is managing partner at GDA Advogados in Mozambique (member of the VdA Legal Partners for Mozambique), a firm which he founded in 2016. He focuses his practice on banking and finance, corporate, energy and natural resources (especially oil and gas), and infrastructure matters. Licensed in law at Eduardo Modlane University in Maputo, Mozambique, from 2019 to 2022, he served as a member of the National Council of the Mozambican Bar Association. Previously, he was a lawyer and legal director at Petróleos de Moçambique S.A., where he held various leadership roles, advised group companies, contributed to drafting key legal instruments for the fuel sector (2006–2015), and supported the development of corporate governance and training for state enterprise leadership. He also holds multiple national and international certifications in oil and gas, law and management.
