About Gustavo A. Alcocer

Gustavo A. Alcocer leads the corporate and commercial law group at OLIVARES and has extensive experience advising domestic and international clients on franchising and related commercial matters in Mexico. With over 30 years of law firm and in-house experience, his practice encompasses corporate and commercial law, M&A, franchise structures, international sales, supply and distribution agreements, and expansion strategies. He has particular experience in IP-intensive businesses, advising clients on leveraging and monetising intellectual property, data, software, digital assets and emerging technologies, including AI. Gustavo combines his transactional experience with an understanding of evolving business models to help clients structure and expand their operations in Mexico.
