Derek Liu is an M&A partner at Baker McKenzie specialising in technology and life sciences, who has signed transactions with an aggregate transaction value of more than USD110 billion over the course of his career. At Baker, Derek has strengthened a number of existing firm relationships by cross-selling M&A work as well as developed a number of new relationships to the firm. Derek has extensive experience in all forms of M&A, representing clients from strategic acquirers to private equity sponsors and venture-backed start-ups.
