About Derrick Yang

Derrick Yang is a partner at Lee and Li and has extensive experience in cross-border investment and M&A. Given his background in tax, he is uniquely positioned to explore different structural alternatives for clients. Derrick has represented internationally renowned private equity funds in closing their first deals in Taiwan and helped with their post-closing integration. Recently, he also advised a global freight forwarder on selling its logistics network. Since 2019, Derrick has handled infrastructure investments such as offshore wind farms and solar/gas-fired power plants for major foreign investors and was deeply involved in the deal structuring, negotiation, reorganisation and closing processes.
