Dr Philip Spoerlé
is a senior associate in the Zürich office and a member of the banking and finance, and capital markets practice groups. His practice focuses on syndicated financing, with an emphasis on acquisition and leveraged finance; debt capital markets, including structured products and other financial instruments; securitised debt; and derivatives. Recent work highlights in structured finance include advising Rabobank and an international bank consortium on the EUR1.8 billion financing for Aryzta. Dr Spoerlé is recognised as an authorised issuer’s representative at the SIX Swiss Exchange. Dr Spoerlé graduated from the University of St Gallen (HSG) with an MA in law & economics before he obtained a PhD (Dr iur) for a thesis in the area of corporate law.
