Elena Sevila Sánchez
is an Senior Associate at the Litigation and Arbitration Department in the Madrid office of Olleros Abogados. She joined Olleros Abogados in 2013 and she previously worked at Garrigues and Lalive. As a lawyer and Secretary of Arbitral Tribunal, Elena has participated in more than thirty national and international commercial arbitrations before a number of arbitral institutions such as the ICC, LCIA, AAA, SCC and CIMA in cases of different nature and matters, including construction, energy, international contracts and industrial property. Elena also has expertise in investment arbitration and she is currently advising two Spanish companies in the negotiation prior to ICSID arbitration. Elena has an extensive experience in appearing before Spanish Courts of Ordinary Jurisdiction, mainly in civil and commercial matters in national and international litigation.Elena has a degree in Law at the Universidad de Alicante and the Humboldt Universität in Berlin, as well as the Geneva LL.M. programme in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) at the Geneva Law School. Since 2012, Elena is a Professor of International Arbitration at the Master in Arbitration and International Business Law at the Saclay University in Paris.
