About Erick Robinson

Erick Robinson is the head of the China practice is a partner based in Beijing and Houston. Erick is a US patent attorney and trial lawyer, and an expert in Chinese patent and antitrust law. He has over 20 years’ experience in cross-border patent litigation, portfolio management, patent prosecution, monetising patent portfolios and related matters, with a technical background in computer science and physics, as well as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and oil and gas. Erick has been selected as one of the leading 300 IP strategists worldwide by Intellectual Asset Management for the past four years and is the publisher of the award-winning China Patent Blog. In addition to his Chinese practice, he regularly practises in the International Trade Commission and the Eastern District of Texas. A long-time member of the American Bar Association’s International Trade Commission/Section 337 Committee, Erick is registered to practise before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the Bars of Texas and New York. He has an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
