About Erin Rivera

Erin Rivera is a transportation attorney at DLA Piper who focuses on federal regulations. He offers unique insight from his tenure as a former regulatory attorney and special adviser to the FAA chief counsel, where he provided strategic insight on policy, regulations and emerging technologies. Additionally, Erin worked with FAA rulemaking teams to develop new federal aviation regulations for powered-lift operations, pilot training and licensing. He chairs the Advanced Air Mobility programme for the ABA Air & Space Forum, where he engages industry leaders on the latest trends in UAS and AAM developments. Erin is a licensed pilot, trained air accident investigator and former helicopter flight engineer in the US Air Force.
