About Estefanía Contreras

Estefanía Contreras is a senior associate in Baker McKenzie’s Bogotá dispute resolution practice, specialising in international commercial and investment arbitration. She represents investors, states, and multinational companies in complex disputes across the construction, infrastructure, energy, and oil and gas sectors, and advises on treaty protections, jurisdiction, risk, and dispute strategy. Estefanía has acted in ICC, ICSID, Madrid Court of Arbitration, and Bogotá Chamber of Commerce proceedings. A Colombian lawyer since 2014, she holds the MIDS (Master in International Dispute Settlement) LLM and received the Young ICCA (International Council for Commercial Arbitration) Scholarship.
