About Eszter Katona

Eszter Katona is a consultant in the corporate/M&A team at Bird & Bird’s Budapest office, where she focuses on M&A transactions and other corporate matters. She also has significant experience in energy law. Since starting her career, Eszter has advised a variety of leading Hungarian and international companies across a variety of sectors including energy, finance, telecommunications and retail. She has particular experience in advising clients on complex multi-phase group restructurings. In the area of M&A, she has been involved in co-ordinating and conducting legal due diligences, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and managing signing and closing proceedings.
