About Eunkyoung Lyu

Eunkyoung Lyu is a partner in the healthcare and life sciences practice group at Lee & Ko. Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2013, she served as a patent examiner at the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) for seven years. She also worked as a deputy director at the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy after passing the National Higher Civil Service Examination in 1999. She has extensive experience advising pharmaceutical clients on regulatory compliance and patent disputes and strategies. She also possesses in-depth knowledge of intellectual property rights, particularly in the pharmaceutical and biologics sectors, and primarily focuses on the enforcement of IP rights for pharmaceutical companies.
