About Fiona W. Ong

Fiona W. Ong is a partner at Shawe Rosenthal and defends employers in court and before federal and state agencies. She advises managers and human resources on a wide variety of personnel matters, including discipline and reasonable accommodations. Fiona prepares handbooks, policies, and employment agreements, in addition to conducting training for supervisors and employees. She is the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s General Counsel and co-chairs its Employment Issues Committee. An experienced speaker, Fiona is the editor of the Maryland Human Resources Manual (published by the American Chamber of Commerce Resources) – as well as an award-winning and prolific author of legal articles for various publications.
