About Francis Li

Francis Li is a legal assistant at Cooley. He regularly advises private fund sponsors on the formation, structuring and operation of investment vehicles, and counsels institutional investors on their investment activities. Drawing on his experience in law and technology, Francis is dedicated to constructing the strategic legal frameworks that fuel the innovation ecosystem. He supports emerging growth companies in the fintech, blockchain and payments sectors in corporate structuring, regulatory compliance and strategic matters. Prior to joining Cooley, he gained extensive experience across the full corporate life cycle at leading international law firms and financial institutions.
