Kathryn Dodds is a corporate partner at gunnercooke llp, with a particular focus on fintech. She advises on M&A, investments, global restructures and innovative corporate structures for Web3 projects. Selected work highlights include leading on: (i) the sale of Attestant, an institutional Ethereum staking provider with USD4 billion in staked assets, to Bitwise Asset Management, being the first transaction of its kind in the UK; (ii) complex reorganisations for Layer 1s, decentralised exchanges and shadow insurers, including DAO “wrapping” and Labs models, enabling growth and reduced liability; and (iii) the world’s first DAO sale, setting a precedent in the market.
