About Karen Arévalo Villarreal

Karen Arévalo Villarreal is an associate at VIVANCO & VIVANCO in Quito, which she joined in 2023. Her practice focuses on regulatory and corporate matters for foreign investors and companies, including investment-based residence, the mobility of executives and staff, and filings before Ecuadorian authorities. She also supports the firm’s corporate and regulatory practice. Karen graduated top of her class in Law from Universidad Hemisferios, and also holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Master’s in Criminal Procedure and Oral Litigation.
