About Khwaja Ahmad Hosain

Khwaja Ahmad Hosain is an advocate of the Supreme Court. He has served as deputy and additional attorney general of Pakistan. He was asked by the Supreme Court to provide assistance on the interpretation and impact of various institutional arbitration rules and arbitration clauses. He has also represented Pakistan in an international treaty-based arbitration. He has appeared as an amicus curiae in the Lahore High Court in connection with the impact of the New York Convention on Pakistan’s municipal law. Mr Hosain was counsel for SNGPL in the leading case on enforcement of foreign awards – ie, SNGPL v Orient (2021 SMCR 1728).
