He advises the government and investors in various PPP projects, and previously served as the Executive Director of the Egyptian Competition Authority and as a Chief Prosecutor in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Egypt. He has also worked as a Legal Adviser to the Minister of Trade and to the Minister of Finance. He participated in drafting the Specialized Economic Zones Law, the Competition Law, the PPP Law, the Income Tax Law and the Micro Small and Small Enterprises Law.
