Kharla Aizpurua Olmos is a partner and leads the B&F and Data Protection practice areas at Morgan & Morgan. Kharla regularly advises on local and cross-border financing transactions. Kharla has been involved in operations related to syndicated loans, acquisition finance, public project financing (transportation and energy), securitisations, public issuances and M&A, and advisory services related to the telecommunications, fintech, start-up and e-commerce sectors, compliance, cybersecurity and data protection. As leader of the firm’s start-up service line, she has advised clients at different stages of investment on their growth plans in Panama, including industries such as fintech, technology and telecommunications. Previously, she worked as an associate in the corporate law department of Garrigues, Spain.
