About Kuburat Abubakar

Kuburat Abubakar is a senior associate at G. Elias and team lead at the Corporate Law practice. With almost ten years’ experience, she has extensive expertise in private equity transactions, M&A, fund formation, regulatory compliance, and complex corporate structuring. She supervises several of the firm’s corporate deals which include M&A and private equity. Kuburat holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Igbinedion University, Okada, and a Barrister at Law degree from the Nigerian Law School. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
