About Kyung Min Son

Kyung Min Son joined Lee & Ko in 2011 and has since specialised in data protection and privacy law, advising domestic and international IT companies and financial institutions on a wide range of personal information matters. He represents clients in investigations by the Personal Information Protection Commission, and handles administrative sanctions and related litigation. He also advises on data breaches, cybersecurity incidents and data subject rights issues. Mr Son has extensive experience in leading data protection compliance projects and providing regulatory consulting. His practice further includes advising on data protection issues in M&A transactions, location-based services regulation, and healthcare data matters.
