About Ian Boczko

Ian Boczko is a litigation partner with more than two decades of experience handling complex commercial disputes, arbitrations, mediations, internal investigations, and insurance-related matters. Since joining Wachtell Lipton in 2001, he has represented clients including JPMorgan, Jefferies Financial Group, the NBA, and Amazon in high-profile disputes and investigations. Among other notable engagements, he represented Silverstein Properties in the landmark World Trade Center insurance litigation following the September 11 attacks. Mr Boczko is widely recognised as a leading expert in RWI and D&O insurance. He has assisted clients in placing over USD15 billion of RWI coverage and regularly advises on insurance-related, transactional risk, and corporate governance matters.
