About Ian Lim

Ian Lim heads TSMP’s employment and labour team and is a partner in its dispute resolution practice. He specialises in Singapore employment law, focusing on restraint of trade, confidentiality and data privacy, dismissal, harassment, retirement and re-employment, statutory employee transfers and industrial relations. Ian has been an appointed tribunal magistrate of the Small Claims Tribunals of the State Courts, and is a fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is recognised and ranked in Chambers, and is active in pro bono and charitable work, with a focus on migrant worker welfare. With Nicholas Ngo, Ian has co-authored several chapters on Singapore employment matters for online international law publications.
