has a degree in law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and was admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association in 1990. She is a postgraduate in management and taxation from ISCTE and a postgraduate in logistics and science of legislation from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. Isabel is a founding partner of the law firm CSBA & Associados - Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL. She holds posts as Deputy Secretary of State for Rural Development and Forestry at the Ministry of Agriculture, Deputy in the Office of the Minister for Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, and Assistant to the Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs and the Secretary of State for Budget in the Ministry of Finance. She also performs duties as a tax technician in the Tax Authority. Her main areas of practice are tax law, tax litigation, M&A and corporate restructuring, credit and insolvency recovery, agriculture, industry and environment and aviation law. Isabel is a copyeditor and regular contributor to several periodical publications of fiscal specialism.
