About João de Araújo Ferraz

João de Araújo Ferraz is a senior associate in the ICT practice at VdA, where he provides specialist advice to companies and public entities from different sectors on various legal issues in the digital economy, namely cybersecurity and emerging technologies. He regularly works on various operations, with particular focus on electronic communications issues. He also provides advice on public consultations, contract negotiations, drafting legal memoranda, litigation and drafting proposals for various legal and regulatory instruments. He has worked with several Portuguese-speaking African countries, particularly Angola, Cabo Verde, and São Tomé and Príncipe, as well as Timor-Leste.
