Joana Andrade Correia
is a partner who specialises in corporate law, M&A, regulation, aviation, hotels, energy and projects. Her recent transactions include advising in corporate restructuring and M&A for sectors such as transport, pharmaceutical, banking and finance, tourism and energy; advising the National Agency for Communications on the TDT project; providing legal assistance in numerous corporate M&A; and assisting in privatisations, with particular reference to Cabo Verde Airlines. Joana speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association. She has worked with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport in Cabo Verde on its revision and development of qualifications for the sector of construction of public and private works and real estate. Joana is the co-author of legal studies for the World Bank in several African jurisdictions (Cabo Verde, Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe).
