About Johannes de Jong

Johannes de Jong is a partner at Osborne Clarke in the financial regulatory team in Amsterdam. He assists a variety of Dutch and foreign-regulated customers in high-profile financial regulatory matters and heads one of the largest Dutch financial regulatory practices. His expertise ranges from regulations regarding banks, the payments industry, investment funds, markets in financial instruments, crypto-asset services, AML and sanctions. In over 16 years of experience, he has assisted many large financial institutions, from banks to trading venues and from fund managers to global crypto exchanges. He has particular knowledge of governance of Dutch financial institutions, screenings of directors and supervisory board members as well as the technical side of custody, central bank clearing and settlement of payments and securities in the Dutch market.
