John M. Ohaga, SC is a Senior Counsel with over 30 years’ experience in the practice of law. He is a Chartered Arbitrator and is recognised internationally as an arbitrator and a leading figure in sports law and governance. His expertise covers sports arbitration, regulatory compliance, disciplinary proceedings, governance disputes and policy reform within the sports sector. He has served as sole, co-, and presiding arbitrator under CAS and other international and domestic rules, and previously chaired Kenya’s Sports Disputes Tribunal for a decade, shaping national sports jurisprudence. He is a Governing Board Member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) and sits on panels including CIArb, LCIA, ICC, and ICAMEK.
