About John Ogle

John Ogle is the managing partner of Venture Law Partners and focuses his practice on private equity, venture capital, and M&A. He represents venture-backed companies across the full lifecycle, from formation and seed financings through priced rounds, down-round recapitalisations, and exits, advising founders, investors and boards on governance and fiduciary matters. He represents buyers and sellers in lower-middle-market M&A, advising on deal structure, due diligence, purchase agreement negotiations, cross-border transactions, and post-closing matters across a range of industries. John’s recent work includes serving as lead counsel on several sell-side lower middle market M&A transactions, guiding founder and family-owned businesses through the sale of their companies from initial structuring and diligence through negotiation and closing.
