About John Wan

John Wan is a partner of Global Law Office in Beijing. He has extensive experience with complex antitrust and competition law issues. Prior to joining Global Law Office, he served as a senior case handler at the Price Supervision and Anti-Monopoly Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). In that capacity, he participated in a number of significant antitrust and cartel investigations, and led the drafting of the Leniency Programme and Commitment Rules under China’s Anti-monopoly Law. John received intensive training in both the DG Competition of the European Commission and the Irish Competition Authority in 2013. He earned a PhD in law in 2010 at China University of Political Science and Law and is admitted to practice in China.
