About Joo-Young Kim
Joo-Young Kim
is the founder and managing partner of Hannuri with over 30 years of legal experience. Mr Kim specialises in shareholders, securities, finance, and corporate governance litigation, as well as compliance issues involving financial institutions. A Fulbright scholar, he earned his LLB from Seoul National University, LLM from the University of Chicago, trained at the Judicial Research & Training Centre, and previously practised at Kim & Chang. He has served as vice chairman of the Economic Reform Committee at the People’s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy and as executive director of the Centre for Good Corporate Governance.
